FreeFixer is a removal tool that deletes undesired software. This removal tool is thought to remove various malware, such as spyware, adware, worms, viruses and Trojans. However you can remove any software that seems suspicious due to a broken link or some information on your PC that doesn’t match the software reported.
The program scans your PC looking in different locations like Winlogon notification, TCP/IP Settings, Browser help objects, Basic Internet settings, Registry Startups, Processes, Services and Drivers. To fix (or delete) anything, you just have to check the appropriate checkboxes on the left side of the list in every category, choosing the titles that refer to malware. For more information, you can click on the "more info" column to verify on the Freefixer website the information about the selected items. But you need to be careful, because if you delete something useful, some programs won’t work again. The program also offers to save a log file with the record of every scan that you perform.
Its installation process is very simple and easy to perform; additional libraries or programs are not needed. There is no documentation included with the program - however, it is available on the program's website, including forums and other sections. Its uninstall process is simple. FreeFixer works on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista platforms.
